Masayuki Maki has performed a variety of historical music repertoire with different artists and music groups around the world. This experience has contributed to his knowledge about how the instruments should sound for each event, based on the repertoire, artists, audience, venue, and the instruments available. He has worked as the Curator for Historical Keyboard Collection at The Juilliard School, coordinated and taught at the Workshop on Maintaining Historical Keyboard Instruments at the Catskill Mountain Foundation's Academy of Fortepiano Performance. He has served the Greater New York area for over a decade. His clients include The Metropolitan Opera, Trinity Wall Street, New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre, etc.
